He established three new galleries and developed the collection of manuscripts and coins in the Lahore Museum. He also served as Project Director of Bahawalpur Museum and Chairman Executive Committee of the Faqir Khana Museum in Lahore. As a Visiting Professor, he taught at Punjab University, Lahore, and the Allama Iqbal Open University, Lahore Campus.
